Disabled Facilities within the Terminal
- Access to the Terminal via revolving doors. Buttons are located at the doors to slow down the revolving speed.
- Special Assistance Desk and Waiting Area, Special Assistance phones located in and around the Terminal. Porters assistance is available Free of Charge.
- Lowered phones for people in wheelchairs. The phones also have number keypads and touch screens for eas eof use.
- Accessible Doors that can be used with Guide Dogs.
- Disabled Toilets.
- Wheelchairs available at two collection points within the Temrinal building - Free of Charge.
Disabled facilities when Parking at Luton Airport
In all car parks there are Designated Disabled Bays. For Offsite, Mid and Long-Term Car PArks, all shuttle buses to the Terminal are fully accessible to Disabled passengers. Help Points are also available in each Car Park, should you require further assistance. For people travelling with motorized wheelchairs, please call APCOA on 01582 395484. Please also contact the same number if a large group of disabled passengers will be travelling.
Within the Short-Term Car Park at Luton Airport, there are dedicated parking bays for Disabled passengers - Free Parking is allowed for 60 minutes. Please ensure that you leave your Parking Clock in your car window and that you validate your badge with the Car Park Reception.
There is also a drop off zone for Blue Disabled Badge holders. Note: There is a 10 minute limit on this area
Furter advice for disabled passengers using Luton Airport
- Make sure you contact your airline for exact boarding/disembarkation and check-in procedures.
- When travelling with Guide Dogs, ensure you have the correct Pet Travel Scheme documentation.
- If travelling with a guide dog, ensure that the airpline you are using has the appropriate license and you can travel with your Guide DOg.
